some of the best thai food in town (coming from someone who’s lived in thailand). a busy atmosphere as it’s in kirk gate market. recommend getting the thai tea with some of the spiced meals to cool your mouth down.

Very tasty and nice. Quick and well packaged for takeaway. Seats are available at the shop. The service is good and overall good experience. The spicy foods are not spicy enough if you are used spicy, so ask them to make it proper spicy.

My favourite Thai food in the north east, very authentic Thai home cooking and always a friendly service. Food is freshly prepared and cooked and the taste is up there with the very best. We travel 130 miles round trip to get here and Khao Gaeng Thai is always the highlight of our trip. Must try the Chicken Pad Thai!!!

We were in Kirkgate Market today and decided to try Khao Gaeng Thai based on how nice the food smelt. We were not disappointed with the taste either. We got the Khao Gai Tod (Crispy Chicken, Rice, Cucumber, and Sweet Sauce) It was delicious! If this place was open on an evening and was a sit-in restaurant, we would eat here every opportunity we have. The staff were nice and friendly and service was quick! The prices were surprisingly cheap too for the quality of the food. We will be back during the day again!

We tried the Pad Thai with chicken and prawns—while the dish had a good mix of textures, it was a little on the sweeter side for our taste, though still enjoyable. The prawns and chicken were fresh and well-cooked. Tom Kha with chicken was a comforting, creamy bowl of coconut goodness, with just the right amount of aromatic lemongrass and lime.A solid spot for a flavorful Thai meal if you’re in Leeds! Came for food with my grandma and would highly recommend! By far the best Thai food in Leeds and we both really enjoyed our meals. The Pad Kee Mao is my favourite and my grandma got the Khao Pad which was also really yummy! Hidden gem in Kirkgate Market- a must try!!

I always wanted to visit this place every time i go to the market as it is always busy with customers! I finally did last week and I really enjoyed it! The service can be a bit hectic but it made up for the delicious Thai tea and Pad Thai meal! Very generous portions with free sauces of the side. I would recommend if you want a delicious lunch or just a quick snack!
